Energy Leaders Visit ND Heritage Center
The State Historical Society of North Dakota and its Foundation hosted a productive meeting with the North Dakota Petroleum Council’s board of directors and guests March 12, 2013 that also included a luncheon and tour of the North Dakota Heritage Center.

Tioga Sons of Norway Supports ND Heritage Center Project
The Sons of Norway Lodge in Tioga has made a financial donation to the North Dakota Heritage Center expansion project, as part of a statewide effort led by the Sverdrup Lodge of Bismarck to encourage Norwegian-Americans in the state to raise funds to name a meeting room in honor of their Norwegian heritage.

Hundreds of people attended the Legislative Reception the evening of January 10, sponsored by the State Historical Society of North Dakota and its Foundation, the Independent Community Banks of North Dakota (ICBND) and the North Dakota Grocers Association.

Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy Visits North Dakota and Heritage Center
Ola Borten Moe, Norway's minister of petroleum and energy, and a delegation of Norwegian oil officials visited the North Dakota Heritage Center November 6, as part of a multi-state tour through the country.

Heritage Center Gallery Closes October 14
The gallery at the State Historical Society of North Dakota's Heritage Center will close on October 14 for the construction of the new galleries at the state's museum.
